The questions people ask
Tap a question to see the answer.
Is he good with cats?
We are confirming this. Our notes on him and cats disagree, so if you have cats at home, ask us before you plan a visit and we will tell you what staff have found.
What about other dogs?
He is fine with some dogs. Slow introductions work best, so plan a calm first meeting with yours.
Why does he seem nervous?
The front of the kennel run scares him, so most visitors walk past. Meet him in the play yard first. That is where he relaxes.
Is he healthy?
Neutered and heartworm negative. DHPP, rabies (1-year) and Bordetella given Jan 16, 2026, next due Jan 16, 2027. A left ear infection was treated and resolved by Mar 2, 2026.
Anything about food?
One cup twice a day, and no chicken.
Where did he come from?
He was found as a stray behind Stillwater Drive in East Whitcomb on January 15, 2026, with no collar or tags. No owner came forward during the stray hold.
